What the consultation includes
We walk the property, note power sources and existing wiring, and discuss architectural, tree and garden, pathway and patio and pool lighting options. We also cover controls, color temperature and phasing if you want to build the system over time. Everything we design is 12V low-voltage LED. The visit is relaxed and there is no pressure. Ask as many questions as you like, and feel free to have everyone who shares the decision there for the night demo.
What to have ready
- A few photos of the front and back of your property, day or night
- Your HOA's exterior lighting rules, if you have an HOA
- The location of existing outdoor outlets, ideally a GFCI outlet near where a transformer could go
- Details on any existing lighting system and what is not working
- Your rough budget and timing
